Sorry about the BS calls. I didn't pay attention to your sig. I know you are set up for top end, but I didn't realize it would pull that hard at high speeds. Good kills!

How hard would you expect a 200 mph car to pull?

lol

I'm not really sure. Here's the sick part. I got them for $1000 for the pair. A good friend of mine with a BEAUTIFUL C5 is trying to recereate the LeMans winner as a weekend driver. These are the Stage 3 heads he didn't get machined properly. So, he told me that he was just going to get rid of them. I immediately made an offer with the cash I had in my pocket. He was only too happy to give them to me. He told me a couple of weeks later that when he said he was going to "get rid of them," he meant that he was going to THROW THEM AWAY! I don't know what he paid for them, but it must be nice to have that kind of cash to toss out. I sure wish I did.

Sounds like fun! The kids are about to go back to school, so it is usually easier to go out during the day. Soon, though, FedEx field will be setting up for that Indy car thing. Once I get the date/time, would you like to meet up there?

Cool. I should have the car by then (motor swap). I do have a lot of F-body firends of mine that are going 2 MIR 4 the Imports vs Domestic event, but thats not till Nov? not sure. But anyway I would love to see that set-up!

Quote: I go work as a 3rd shift computer geek. That's the best time to go hunting races on the stretch between 695 and 495. You get the punanis heading to Georgetown for the lax ID checking. Try it sometime. They really come out of the woodwork just south of 32.
I used to live in Silver Spring in the old days of h.p. cars...60s and 70s...carbs,points etc. It was a good era...much simpler stuff. The co. I work for is in Columbia...off 32,Ithink.
I had a 71 340 Demon that I raced mostly when I was in Az. Some of the new stuff is quicker but the old **** didn't have a pcm telling it what to do.
