Kills and Deaths with the MS3
Well, I finally got my car running with the new Magic Stick 3 and overall I am pretty impressed.
First race was against a built motor ls1 camaro SS with full bolt ons, custom comp grind, 4500 stall, ported ls1 heads, car was untuned. We started at about a 20 mph roll in 1st. We stayed pretty even I was at his front fender then top of fourth i started inching up little by little went in to fifth and i was probably at his side marker light and then we let off since we were going like 150mph.
Second race was against a 98 M6 ws6 with a MTI X1 cam, full boltons, 78mm LSX intake, car was tuned making 401 rwhp. We went form a 50 mph roll in second he got about a half car jump on me then i started to reel him in, by top of fourth i put about a half car on him.
Third race was against a bolt on LT1 Trans am with bascially just a 75 shot. We went from a 20 mph roll in 1st. We both took off and he kept up about until 3rd i put about 2-2.5 cars on him.
Last race was against a Full bolt on M6 LS1 Camaro SS with a hot cam and ls1 ported heads. we went form a bout a 50 mph roll. We did two runs the first run was really close he pulled about maybe a little less than a 1/2 car, I was about at his side blinker. The second race i fucked up on shifting and he put about a 1.5 cars on me
I just met most of these guys to day so I dont know if there mods are all correct but more less its pretty close. But I was pretty hapy with the way the races turned out. My car just got put back together today after having a broken bolt taken out of the crank and was out for almost a month.
BTW I broke it in for about 100 miles before I raced. All my mods are listed below. I am on stock tune and am shifting at 6000 rpms. I should be shifting at 6500-6700 rpms. I wonder how the outcome of the races would turn out and how much more power I would be making if i was tuned shifting at 67000 rpms? We got most of it on video should be posting it up tommorow or the next day. I will be getting a tune monday so hopefully i will make some good numbers. Sorry for the long post.

What's with running (RACING!) on a new cammed setup- untuned? Get that thing tuned already! You're leaving a decent amount of power on the table without that 6000-6800 rpm power band.
Whenever I hear of people racing on their untuned setups, I cringe.
