Default MR2 , yeah right!

I got a life long friend who swayed to the dark side of the rice. He bought an MR2 and put a ton of mods on it to include N2O and started talking about taking me. Well friend or not I wasn't about to let him put the F-body down! Needless to say I beat him by about 5 car lengths. He should've known better since he was there when I installed my head and cam amongst other things. We are still best friends but he knows his place around me...Again!
The race was for about 1/2 mile. Never chased him, he chased me the whole way. Light weight will only help when you got some HP

Same thing happened to me. I have an old friend that I had not talked to in a while, because he started working full time and I got busy with school. He has got a 2nd Gen RX7 with all of the bolt on's you can get. So, he calls me up one day (out of no-where)and wants to race. When he shows up he parks in the street, so I cannot see his brand new front-mount intercooler and ET Streets. Well we race, I beat him a couple of times. And you know the rest....

It was one of the newer ones, I believe a 2003. They are light but that's about it. Now I ask him when is he gonna step up to the big boys, get an F-body and retire that Roller skate of a vehicle? He just laughs cause he knows I'm right.

I'm surprised a newer MR2 Spyder with mods kept up to only 5 lengths behind you at a 1/2 mile race, seeing how you have heads, cam, obviously other bolt-ons, etc. Good kill though.

Ooops, I meant 1/4 mile. Just realized I put 1/2 down. sorry bout that it was late when I posted. It was around a 1/4 mile though, nothing exact. He can't drive either. Getting better but still granny shifting, not double clutch'in like he should! J/K I should get my *** beat just for typing that!
