Sad but true... everyone does it though. I've heard enough people claim that they have beaten 03-04 Cobras with their LS1 stock. This guy is blind because of his car. He probably got rocked and can't accept it.

I have ran an E46 M3 when my 03 was BONE stock, coming home from atco. I flat out WAILED (SP?) on his car, and we must have ran 10 times up to 140 starting at various speeds (go ahead, flame away). HOWEVER, going though even slight turns was a COMPLETELY different story. I had to drastically slow down (and I mean like 60mph from 140 to go around slight turns to feel comfortable) and that is where he would just fly by me. ON the straight away though, it wasn't much a match at all. The same exact thing happened when I raced an RS6. I had to slow down on the highway to about 70, and he must have been doing the previous speed that I was doing ON the turn (140).
BOTH cars are 12 second capable cars (MY car ran 12.6@113 bone stock the same night I ran the M3). I have seen M3's run 12.9's at 107-109ish (don't remember the EXACT traps) BONE stock also.
Maybe this was just a case of the cobra starting in the wrong gear, shifting to the right gear, than shifting again into 3rd (3rd, 2nd, 3rd). But again, if they were going around turns, teh cobra driver was probably HIGHLY hesitant, hence why the M3 was so damn close.
This story is COMPLETELY believeable coming from my OWN personal experience while racing an M3 in my "used-to-be" bonestock 03 cobra.
EDIT: I love when people make replies (over on that site is what I'm talking about) that say, "no way that could have happened". LMAO. M3's trap 101-110 *from what I have seen and read* while 03/4 cobras trap 106-115 *from what I have read, watched, and raced*, so a good running M3 with a good driving (smg, so driver better be counted as good) against a shitty 03/4 cobra driver, it's going to be REAL close, that's a given.
