Went to the 1/8 track today w/ a few of my friends..he lets us mess around a few times after the actual races so me and my freinds mach 1 go at it twice..........We were both having some issues spinning in the cold weather. As you can see he almost lost it once and let out....I was spinning really bad but the lca's saved me and kept me straight......




Then the announcer (ford guy) is like lets see the 04 Cobra vs. Camaro...Im instantly like what cobra , I didnt see a cobra...Then he pulls up and im like crap the bottle is closed because I was having issues,... Im DEAD ( I could hear it wasnt stock).....So we both line up and I know its going to take a lot here so I do a HUGE burn out and actually get out of the whole really good this time.....You cant see if from the slip but it was like i pulled he pulled I pulled and then he pulls back and we are like nose to nose...Good thing mine was longer

Obviously I would have lost if he had gotten out of the whole better or even reacted sooner....I still dont know if he just couldnt drive or what because when i asked his mods he goes....

Pulley and chip....."pauses" I added an intake and exhaust as well a while back...at this point im like

As you can see my car thought it had nitrous lol compared to the other runs...but when u look at the trap you can see what getting out of the whole can do. I actually had to show people my pressure guage was at 0 when I won lol...

Slip 1 (2 mach vs. 4 me) This is where he almost lost it.
Slip 2 (4 me vs 5 mach) We spun about the same here...
Slip 3 (7 Cobra vs. 9 me)


For some reason on slip 2 he changed the lights and im like he changed to or from pro not such which is called what but it was xmas tree style then he flashed all then green.....

 

that was wayyy close.

Whats really funny is that it was so close I couldnt see who won and didnt pay attention that I got a better reaction time and was saying that I lost.....LOL
