No bet, just racing for the hell of it. Another boy i know raced him from 50 to 120 and put 4 or 5 cars on his *** and all he has is full boltons, a G5x2 cam, and a 6speed. I know with a TNT 150shot i outta be able to beat him, so i dunno. It seems pretty obvious to me, i just don't see how it can be that fast. I mean supra's are bad *** cars but a 150shot come on.

Yea, a bolt-on LS1 with a 150 shot can hold it's own on the street pretty well. But Supra's are complete monsters of the highway. Too be on the safe side go from a dig....

Would a role say around 25mph be good enough?

The Sound Performance turbo's are nice. The Supra's can handle a lot of boost on stock internals, very good blocks. He'll most likely throw in some race gas and turn up the boost to close to 30 lbs. And Supras respond very well to nitrous so make sure he isn't spraying to spool his turbo.

I know for a fact he's not using nitrous unless he gets some this week, and from what i hear the highest he's ever got his boost to was 1.4bar which is around 28 or something and he was doing 160mph when it was up that high and the turbo got really hot. I think if i can get him to go from a stop i'll own him pretty bad and if i get him to go from like a 55 role it'll be close.

This sounds like the makings for a sweet race. Have someone get vid from another car if possible for perspective.

I'll get it on video, depending on where we race i'll get somebody to easy take it from the finish line or we'll go out on a 3 lane on the interstate and i'll have a car infront of us by a half mile or something.

ok, that SP61 turbo is good for about 620-650whp on that supra on average. Is he a 6speed or auto? Also what tires is he on? Suspension really dosen't matter, since I've seen stock suspension supra's dig 1.4's on a boot.

He's on 19's and not sure what kind of tires, and it is a 6speed. I'm more than certain i can **** his world up pretty good from a dig, but he wont' race from a dig and honestly i can't blame him. If i can get him to go from a low role like 25 then i outta be ok, but i also plan on racing him on a higher role around 60mph.

Yeah, you would have no issues dragging him 1320' from a dig, but from a roll I think he will take you if he has race gas and 2-2.2 bar. If it's a cash race, I would turn it down (highway run).. If its for fun, then let it roll.

I'm quite sure it'll stay on 1.3 bar or 1.4 bar would be as high as he would go. The race is just for ***** and giggles, if a lot of money were involved i'd fine tune my car and put the 250jets in And i got a cam layin around that i could always put in if we were going for cash.

umm...i hope your joking about the 250 shot. All that's going to do is unless you have some internal work and a good tune to go with it. Good luck with the race and get a video because it's going to be a

At least it's only for fun. You running him from a high roll is like him running you from a dig. It's gonna be a good race, can't wait to see video.
