Default C6 vs Z28

I just raced a C6 Z51 auto from a roll in first. The Vette's front bumper was at my door when we hit it. By the time I got into fourth, I had one or two on it. I am running a homebrew rear mount turbo at 3.5 psi with no tune. My turbo is huge and takes a while to spool. Can't wait until I get a tune and up the boost to 6 psi.

Nice kill. I just checked out the junkyard turbo forum. I am looking to put a turbo on my DD and wanted to know if you had a complete list of the parts you used so far. I have a wife and two kids so I need to save as much money as possible. (can't even afford an STS right now) The car is a stock 2000 Formula A4. Must go faster!!!!!!!!

Thanks.

I know all about the wife and kids deal. That's why I scrounged my kit together on a shoestring. You can do it for real cheap and still have a good kit. I'm at or below $1000. I did that over a few months so the hit isn't as bad.

Here are most of the parts. http://www.junkyardturbos.com/parts.asp

Thanks for the info. I'm going to start picking up stuff as I can. Keep us updated as you continue the project and good luck.
