S-281
S-281 So i'm at the track and this guy I went to high school with was there with a really nice S-281 with an aftermaket bigass blower sticking out of the hood. It was kinda weird b/c the SC wasn't centered, the whole in his hood was off the the passenger side. Anyway, this guy always struck me as very strange and really cocky. He said he was only putting down 4lbs to a 5.4 in the saleen and he was running 8.8's all day while I was there running 8.6/8.5. Well long story short im coming home from work the other night and I stop a the local gas station where this guy and a bunch of his buddies pull up in a pick-up. They come up to me as im pumping and start asking all these questions about what i had done to the Z. After telling them its basically stock the guy with the Saleen couldn't believe I was running 8.6 with minor bolt on's. After talking with them for a while I realized the guy was not an ******* like i had thought, he seemed pretty cool. He also metioned that his buddies had mustangs and as soon as he said that they starting trashing their own cars??? If I see him again I will set up a race with a video, I haven't seen too many S-281 vs Fbody Vids. I just better do it before he ups the boost like he said he was going to do
