Raped 2 bikes from a dig....
Anyway we are coming up to the red light at Center St. on Spencer heading East and the guy on the R6 says, "Nice ride man....". I say thanks and ask if he wants to run from the light. He nods as if to say, "Hell yes!". IT'S ON!!
I didn't have time to really heat tha meats so when the light turned green I rode the clucth just enough to haze the tires and put some heat into them so that when I hit 2nd they would hook, they did! I glanced to the right and noticed the blue bike about a car back, hit 3rd and proceeded to put land on him. Looked back when I hit 4th and he was about 6 cars back so I let off and jumped on the brakes. He cruised up beside me and gave me a thumbs up, I did the same, but seemed to have the bigger smile on my face.
The other guy let out somewhere in 2nd and just watched as his buddy got raped. Neither one of them could really ride very well or else they underestimated my car, either way they got schooled!

I just wish those fuggers could have ridden better to make it a little better race for me!
Still would have beaten them just not as badly.
It ended quite a looooong drought for me. It has been over two months since I have had a race worth posting about. It gets routine spanking LS-1's all the time.
02SilverWS6 , look in my profile, I think there is still a pic there.
An R6 ridden right will run a 10.8 at 128 mph and that sounds pretty fast for your car? Is your car really capable of running a sub 10.8 quarter mile?
Most young kids with little or no ridding experience aren't capable of launching the bike correctly. It is hard not to wheelie an R6 or R1 or any sportbike on the launch without slipping the clutch through most of first and laying on the gas tank. It is hard on clutches, which is why I don't drag race my sportbikes. I have an R6 and R1 and don't think those guys knew how to ride.
But I have spanked bikes in my car too and know it sure feels good no matter what the circumstances are.
Lets face it, a bike that puts out 120-150hp and weighs 365-385lbs is going to do well in the quarter if you know how to launch. But hey, the street is not the same as the track.
Good kill...

That's why us cars have a chance against bikes, because most riders can't launch, but if you find someone who can...
If you get a chance to ride a GSXR1000, don't pass it up. Me and a friend traded bikes one day while ridding and I got to ride his GSXR1000 and he rode my R1. Damn that GSXR1000 is a monster! It doesn't matter what gear you are in, anything above 5,000 rpms and it shows its teeth.
I have to admit though, my R6 redline is 15,500 rpms and after riding the 1000s it takes some getting used to. I am selling my R6 if you know anyone who would be interested. No I am not selling the R1, so don't ask.
To be honest I wish those guys today did have some skillz because I would have liked to have gone by on the big end with my hand waving....bye-bye!

Don't forget the R6 is capable of 160mph, so you would need a good stretch of road for that to occur. And the big bikes... you can forget it.
I'm just glad you know enough about bikes to know what they're capable of. If you see an extended swing arm and the bike is lowered, you can count on the rider to know how to launch.
As far as the GSXR1000 goes, wheelies at 100mph in 4th gear by snapping the throttle open can be a little intimidating! I call that "pucker factor"!
Fact is, most bike riders aren't very knowledgable about cars and think they are easy prey, which you can hardly blame them for. But, every now and then you can do some educating.
Then again, you can end up reaffirming their thoughts.

Anyhow, good kill...
But your right, they would have taken my *** straight back to where I just came from!
J-ROD , hater.....
but I didn't realize they were that fast in the quarter. I guess he just doesn't know how to 1/4 mile it.
Also, it seems to be a lot easier to get a bike on the street if you go off the line and have good reaction times and can hook.
In my old mustang (heads cam gears nitrous) I took a Gixxer 1000 off the line........I jumped quicker and then he wheelied it so I got out 3-4 quick links before he could get it back down and freightrain right past me!!!!
light to light on spray I spanked the R6.
Of course with a professional rider on either I'm sure I'd have been toast.
