Although this happened about a year ago, it still is my favorite. Me in my TA and my buddy in his honda civic ( I can't convince him to get anything else) were coming home. He took the off ramp 0ff 635 onto luna rd in front of me, and an s2000 on the service road sped up considerably just to cut him off; So I step in for redemption. All of us turn right onto Luna rd and all catch the first red light. My buddy calls my cell phone and I promise him revenge. Luna rd is a very straight 4-5 mile road that has one bridge that is very short and rather tall. A dukes of hazzard can be acheived very easily on this hill. The rest of the road is poorly lit and there are several little potholes. I have worked at a company on this road for 6 years. so I knew the road very well.
I rev it up he acknoledges, the light goes green. I have to let off the gas just to keep him in the game. As the steep bridge approaches I speed up he stays even with me, right before the apex of the bridge I shut it down as fast and hard as I can. He doesn't. I have never seen a car so airborne in person before, I guess that rice burner spoiler might have been valuable here. He lived through the flight and caught up with me at this point it was a game of go faster than him but don't waste him to hard. We went down the road his car seemingly hitting every pothole in the road. While I managed to steer clear of the potholes I had been avoiding for years. When it came up to the last half mile of the road, I gave it all and left him by a parking lot. Luna dead ends into beltline rd. I took a right towards I-35 he followed We stopped at the light. He got out of his car pretty steamed. Yelling more threats than the alqueda. But he forgot about the civic that he cut off that just pulled up behind us. My buddy gets out of the car and simply says " that sign back there at the offramp means yield dumb$$s".
The guy was so steamed not because of the obscene loss he just incurred, but the damage to his cas. He let me survey the damage since he thought I was responsible and was going to pay for it. Broken passenger headlight, broken anti sway bar, bent rear driver wheel, endless scraping, loose front nose piece. and best of all He still had the paper plate on the car. I just asked him how it felt to be stupid enough to trash a car that early in ownership. me and my buddy got in our cars drove off laughing as he sat there outside his car wondering how he was going to explain this to the honda dealership for warranty work.

 

LOL, thats great. I feel bad for the S2000 owner, but he deserves to be put in his place. Their is this one guy named Andrew that keeps saying a S2000 will destroy my 2000 Camaro Z28, no-matter what I say he always says some dumb remark and basically says I'm dumb and know jack about cars... then usually has this annoying laugh that he does saying how I think a camaro even has a chance against a S2000 <img border="0" title="" alt="[Roll Eyes]" src="images/icons/rolleyes.gif" /> . I would love to put this jerk in his place, but he'll never watch a race with my car (not that I even race alot). Oh yea, he also dis's american cars like their is no tomorrow.

 

I have to reply on this one. I like to share a story as well. I was down in Mountain View (2hr drive where I live) going to a party with a buddy. On the way back home there was a black S2000 on the road thinking he was a <img border="0" alt="[pimp]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_pimp.gif" /> . His license plate read "2FAST4U" or something like that. So I had to pick on him. The road that we were on was long and straight. So I looked over and noticed it was a guy and his gf. I signaled forward to start it. From a 40mph roll I gave him a second lead since I knew my car could hang. I had it in 2nd gear at the time and floored it. I caught up so quick he had a suprised look on his faced when I past him. I threw up the peace sign and left him behind. He never did catch up to play on the way back home.

Nice kills! Anyone who buys a car like an S2000 and thinks its the fastest thing on the road just because its expensive deserves what they get! I especially love that first story! <img border="0" alt="[worship]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_hail.gif" />

 

Yeah I have no idea what it is with these DAMN S2000 owners... It's the same stories here in TEXAS...

I can't believe how much damage there was on his car. <img border="0" alt="[evil]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_devil.gif" /> If it were me in that s2000 (which would never happen) and i caught air like that...i would have backed way off and stopped. No race is worth damaging your car like that.
