LS1 Triple header well it all happened when i disreguarded what my wife told me. she said dont go out you will get a ticket, and i said NOWAY not ME... so here we are 3 wide on the upper deck, and they want to go from a 40. that is second gear for me and i am not liking this very much. anyway i did it, we line up and i honk 3 times, tires spinning and we are off, i jump out right away about half a car and i stay there the whole race. good think i won cause the Mustang behind us let out....WHY YOU ASK... cause a freaking COP blew by his *** heading straight for the 3 LS1's flying down the highway at over 120 mph. while the other guys run from the law, i though i might as well pull over nd take it like a man. so i did and the cop was freaking cool as hell. after he questioned me for about 10 minutes asking where we were and were we hung out, told me some story about a kid dying while street racing. i told him everyting that he wanted to hear, because i dont want to go to jail. so right before he lets me go he says i would just ike you to know that i had my car floored and you guys were pulling away from me like i was tied to a fence post. he said he paced us at 110 and i asked him how because he was over 40 cars behind us when i finally saw him. HIS ANSWER WAS HE JUST DID... i told him that as fine as he walked be back to the his car and showed me the radar gun that said 127mph on it... all i have to say is this cop is awsome and maybe they arent all as bad as we thought.....

Re: LS1 Triple header I feel you on that story. I had the same thing happen to me but I was in my friends '97 Formula. We were in town with no traffic. I told my buddy he was driving like a mad man. Eventually we got pulled over because he ran a light in a intersection turning right. A cop saw him and took off after him. Now, when we were on the straight-a-way my friend was flooring it for fun. Just excited to have his car for the first day, I guess. When we were pulled over, the cop said "you were hauling *** man." He told us that he had the gas pedal all the way in and was losing ground with us quick. My friend was less fortunate because he ended up getting a ticket. That should teach him something.

Re: LS1 Triple header i had something like that happen when I was 16, i was going down ladysmith rd in my 87 camaro that i had just dropped a 327 in. some one was behind me with bright lights when i would speed up so would the other car right as i got up to a strait stretch i floored it (thought someone wanted to play) right about the time i hit 135 i saw blue lights behind me like a 1/2 mile back I pulled over and he gave me the option of going to jail and having to call mom and dad from jail or going home and telling them when he gets their the next day. i opted for choice 2. my dad just asked how i handled it my mom on the other hand was not that easy on me she grounded me for 2 months. I am 22 now and still love going fast

Re: LS1 Triple header Last fall I was heading out of Richland real fast because I was late for a movie that my friends were already at. I saw a tahoe come the other way and just pulled over immediately because I knew I was gonna be pulled over. He quickly spun around after he passed me and flipped on the blue and red. He ended up letting me off a 75 in a 35 and was more impressed with the car that giving me a ticket. I thought for sure he was going to give this young kid a ticket but he must have had a good heart that day. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Cool]" src="gr_images/icons/cool.gif" />
