This may be a little long but funny. I will name streets since no racing took place and will give those that are familiar a chance to visualize. I am heading West on Bay Area blvd. on the inside lane and am coming up on El Camino. I notice a 99-00 Cobra in the right lane(3 lanes wide here). And Lo and behold, the light turns red. Instead of pulling up to the light next to me, the guy whips it across 3 lanes to the left turn lane. His light turns green and he goes by me and gives me a rev. WHOA, wait just a minute. My light goes green. I go thru the intersection, U-turn and come back to El Camino. SO we are going South. I see him up there weaving thru traffic running scared. I just take my time picking thru traffic at a steady pace Like a lion sure to get his kill. We go past Nasa Rd. 1 and I break free of traffic and am coming up on him in the left lane and he is in the center(3 lanes again). We are coming up on that light right before the Clear Creek bridge and, sure enough, it turns yellow then red. SWEET. We are decelerating towards the light when this dude whips it into the right lane and turns into some apartments. I couldn't friggin' believe it. I wonder what it is like to always have to run and hide. Well I say to hell with it and go over the bridge. On the other side is a turn aroud that goes to the boat ramp at Clear Creek. I get off and turn around to position myself and wait for that dude. A couple of minutes go by and, yep, here he comes down the backside of the bridge and I am laying in wait. As he is approaching, I pop up to the roadside, he sees me and hammers it. I get on behind him and as I turn, I notice my radar detector going off. If you are familiar with this area, you know that League City's finest likes to lay around that corner towards 518. He was doing about 70-80mph(in a 50mph zone) when he went around that corner....and Bamm.....Mr Law Nailed him. I couldn't believe it. After all that evasive action, that dude got nailed. Anyway, I rolled on past with a big smile on my face. That'll teach that boy to take his whippin' like a man next time.

 

That's the best story I've heard in a long time. What a dumb ***. Rev and run, dodge and hide (twice).
