Hey guys
Ok so i have this guy at work whose dad has a crx (modded). He says he beats z28s and SS's every day. I want to run him but since there might be some money involved i want to know hwat i am getting into.

His car : CRX with a GSR motor(no details), exhaust,intake . No turbo no SC.
My car : 00 Z28 A4 with 3.23 rear. Wisper lid only. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Embarrassed]" src="gr_emb.gif" />

What do you guys think should i try it or wait for more mods? Any of ya'll have any details on that motor that would be appreciated.
(p.s - any local (carrollton area) guys want to come a join the fun it might be thursday night this week. )

 

being that you have an auto with no stall converter I would say it will be VERY close

 

Without details on the CRX it is impossible to tell. It could run low 12s or 15s.

Friend has a CRX with a bone stock prelude motor that ran 13.0s. No mods done to the motor at all, just a swap.

 

You better find out more about the car before you start trying to bet money.. If you had a good sized stall and drag radials I might say go for it from a stop, but we have no details of the CRX and if the guy below had his buddy do 13.0s with a stock prelude motor in one, you could be in trouble...

Id get more information first...

why dont you put some money to mods,then race him.a stall and tires you will win.
