RE: the Evo
In last months issue of sport compact car they were given a new Evo for a day. They let a "pro" drive it and he ran a 13.34 1/4 stock. When the author of the article ran it later in the same article I think the best he could muster was high 13's.
The article pointed out that the car is really hard to launch correctly and that unless you launch just right, expect a run in the high 13's -low 14's.
And who knows, but the author went on to say that he smoked an RSX (yeah, big challenge there) and a Bullit ("yawn" - his word, not mine) on the street.
It had 200 miles or so on it when it came to his door so I don't know what that says re: what #'s it'll put out when it's further broken in.
Oh, and a buddy of mine with an identical WS6 to mine trolled the Mitsu dealer recently to check it out. He said the dealer had added thousands to the price in the form of an "additional dealer markup" and that it was about $37K (not including TAXES)!!!
