doh, you are going to beat that 350z so bad, it's not even funny. They give a stock lt1 a run, but no way an ls1. Just take your time on the throttle. By end of 2nd gear, you will have two-three cars on him.

So let me start off by saying that I made this guy at work look like an idiot. Early this morning the 350Z and the little hatchback Civic went at it. In the first race the Z edged out the Civic by about a foot. Then, in the second race the Z beat the Civic by a little more than a car length. After these races, the guy with the Z was all hyped. His bawls really grew big out of no-where, and the **** talkin began. A few hours later, during lunch time he said this " Alright I'm ready to make your Camaro look bad now, and hey after this, maybe you can sell your crap and buy a real car". I was now gettin pretty pissed off. We were gonna bet $300, but he wanted to raise it to $500. I was fine with that,after hearing what u guys said, I was pretty confident. So then we get in our cars and head down to the "racing street". Our boss and a few other guys follow us. Our boss says that he will be at the finish line to take a finishing photo, another guy has a camera. Finally we get ready. We take off and right from the start I was kicking his ***. By third, I had about a car length on him. So at this point, I ease of the throttle. Being the nice guy that I am, I let him catch up. We he finally did, I took off again. I beat him by almost a car and a half. We get back to the starting point. He say's that he messed up and that he wants to do it again, I was fine with that. My boss told me not to slow do this time and hand him his ***. The guy with the Z said that I better be kicking his *** by fourth gear cause that's when his car is really powerful, and that's when LS1's really lack power. This guy definetly doesn't know ****. We take off again, My car launches out of no-where, and takes off like a freakin rocket. By second I already have a car length on him. Once fourth gear was gonna hit, I was gonna ease up and let him catch up, but then I thought " F that, this guy has been talkin hella **** about my car so i'm gonna make him look really bad. So then I floor that ****, and damn, I have never felt that much power from my car. When we crossed the line, i though I had beaten him by about two car lenghts( I really didn't look to see how far back he was, I was to exited). We went back to the starting line and everyone was all exited, they were all like" your f-n kicked his ***. I told them that i wasn't by that much, maybe like two cars, and then my boss said " are you crazy, you kicked his *** by more that four cars. I was like ****! Then the guy with the Z said that there was no-way that my car wasn't modded. I just told him that It must of been that wax job that I gave the car over the weekend, It really cut the wind.

When we were all about to get off work, we walk out of the office. There are blown up pictures all over the walls. These are the one's that my boss took of me kicking his ***. you see my car, and then his way back there. Everyone was talking **** to him. I kinda felt bad, but hey, that's what you get for talking all that ****, without knowing anything. It was a nice day at the office.

To end my story:
I kicked his ***, and made him look bad.
I made an extra $500 in a few minutes.
Best of all, I will finally be able to order my GMMG CATBACK EXHAUST..

great kill man, but i have one suggestion, NEVER LET OFF AND LET THEM CATCH UP, OR EVEN EASE THE THROTTLE, always hand them their ***. while maybe u consider it "mean" when u do things like that, u just leave openings for excuses and bs from the other person. he deserved to get raped hard.

that being said, i second for kill of the year hahaha, great story, great outcome

 

He said that he wanted a rematch next month, after he puts some stuff in his car. That should be fun. I'm planning on doing a couple things to the SS pretty soon, so we'll see what happens.

Ya I will never let anyone catch up, or ease of the throttle, but I just felt bad for the guy.

 

he'll have to do a lot of modding to catch you. The great thing is you can mod your car too.

 

Especially since his boss was involved.

 

Now he knows his place in the food chain.

this is a perfect example of what happens when the salesman is convincing the buyer to get the car, "this is the fastest thing on the road, you wont have to worry about anything."

unless he goes f/i theres nothing for u to worry about...those things were a good match up stock for stock with my s2000... but an ls1 is laughable
