Got busted up pretty bad by an 84(I think) 300ZX Nissan. Stock internals, and a stage 3 turbo(T-3something or other). Other mods and horsepower unknown, but said the car weighed about 3300. Both of us had 1 passenger. Went from a roll from around 60 mph, at the third honk, he instantly puts about 3-4 cars on me and is pulling. I hear that turbo spool up and literally shriek. Shut it down around 120 mph with him about 4-5 cars ahead. Second run, seems a bit closer, but he still has about 2.5-3 cars on me. I MIGHT have reeled him in or made it closer if speeds went up, but we had to shut er down. We were unable to roll from a lower speed which would be more to my advantage. The passenger in the Nissan video'd it, so if I am able to get it, I'll post it up, so you can all see firsthand how badly raped I was.

Next race was a black SRT-4. Hammer it from about 70mph and he puts a car on me quick. It stays that way, then I'm at his bumper, then at his door, and finally by around 110 I pull ahead. Shut it down at 130 with me at least 2 cars on him. His mods were unknown.

Cool people, I didn't really care how I raced just wanted to get a couple in. Well, now i know autos suck from a roll. You think a 4400 stall and TREx cam might help me out on that one????

I'm going to get a rematch as soon as I can. This one will be from a dig, no doubt, and/or a VERY slow roll.

Yes stall all the way with a trans-go shift kit and trans cooler. That way you can nail it at what ever speed you want. A cam, lt headers with full exaust would be the way to go after the stall.

WOW good kill/death. I was looking at your mod list and that SRT-4 must have been fast as hell to put a car on you at 70 and only lose by 2 cars at 130. He's probably so used to beating stock/bolt-on LS1's that running into a nice heads/cam car probably had him saying "WTF just happened".

Yeah, it was a red one, but we were in the north broward area. Not sure where he lived or anything. Oh, I did a little bit of searching and found that some time ago he was making around 330 rwhp and 380 ft/lbs tq on 16 psi. I think he is a little above that now since getting it tuned. BTW, I don't have a heads/cam car, just cam, and missing a few bolt ons at that.

I'm gonna quit fu##ing around!!! TREX and 4400 stall coming up soon.
