If the car isn't PI headswapped you should pull on him no problem. Also remember the 4R70W isn't as good of a tranny as the 4L60E...the automatic Mustangs are usually noticably slower then manual Mustangs when they have a stock converter.

 

4L60E owns 4R70W/AODE.

I've had both. No comparison.

maybe his dyno numbers were from a "mustang dyno"...basically you have to have forced induction or nitrous on those models to go ls1 bolt on times -- a friend of mine had a 2002,3,4 not exactley sure mustang gt manual...with a cold air intake, mafs, lt headers, x-pipe, and 4.10 gears he was running 14 second quarter miles....kick his *** seabass!

 

The 4r70w is actually a good tranny when built .Stock yes its a dog.

As far as the 98 gt .Even with a pi head swap,cams,stall,and every bolt they make .He would be LUCKY to get to 275rwhp thru a auto.

If he only has the mods you posted.he will be lucky to put down 200rwhp.

As far as the 4.6 being slow and weak- yea ok..

But either way ,you will easily kill him.
