Killed an SL500

Killed an SL500 Ok, I know this isn't that great or amazing but it was my first race against anything some what fast. So I was at a stop light around midnight in Scottsdale and I had been following this 05 SL500 that had been speeding and swerving through traffic. I look over at the guy at the light but he wouldn't look back at me like he was too good for me. So the light turns green and I let the clutch out easy and give about half throttle, then I notice he starts pulling away from me so I stomp it at 2500rpms. I end up flying past him in the top of 1st then I powershift and I was gone. By 70 I had like 6-7 car lengths. I was impressed cuz i thought it would be alot closer of a race. Then I slow down and he catches up and I give him the thumbs up but still he won't look over. Then later I realized why he was so mad. His 92,000 mercedes just got his *** handed to him by a 26,000 Z/28. I looked up the stats on the car and it has 302 hp and 335ish torque rated at 0-60 in 6.1 also these cars have the 7-speed auto which is pretty cool. Now i need to find a SL600 that would be a good one, a bet their faster than me!!

Dude the regular ones are slow period. Now if you happen to come across one that says SL55AMG or any late model AMG for that matter, be ready as they are fast. The SL55 AMG is capable of 12.8's in the quarter, if it is the SL600 AMG you better have all the bolt- ons and a cam.

yeah I know any AMGs or SL600 would be fast as hell but for 92,000 I wouldn't want a SL500. Also I would like to race one of those SLR that would be close, well until i get my gearing in.

The 500 is a fun race. I let one get a solid car jump on me, reeled it in and past it, continued on to put a car or two on it. The lady driving was pissed since I did it to her twice just to make sure she knew.
