Guys man, are you serious?? You're really wondering who's gonna win this race? The vette obviously has the advantage. If let's say the vette is 150lbs lighter, that's like .15 if you apply the 100lbs to a tenth of a second off the quarter mile, which gives the vette the win, not to mention the aerodynamics, ls6 intake and such on vettes, and that the 98 automatic ls1's are the lowest dynoing ls1's.

 

Do they both have the stock 2.73/taller gear ratio? I would imagine that if either has the shorter ratio, that would matter more than weight from a dig.

vette could have 2.73 or 3.15
