Congrats on the kill. I agree that the looks of the FD are very nice. I have been thinking about getting one myself.

On of the guys that works here at NX has an FD ('93 model I think), it is one of the sickest cars I have ever seen, period. It is a ground up rebuilt with a molded body kit, carbon fiber hood and front/rear spoilers. The entire inerior is carbon fiber except for the seats and floor carpet. Full cage with a ton of suspension mods. He kept the rotary and went with a BIG single turbo and a custom nitrous system, controls it all with a stand alone engine management. On low boost and pump gas it's close to 500rwhp and on the high boost w/ C16 he was shooting for 850rwhp.

It sounds kinda like a hopped up go-kart when its at idle, but when he gets on I can't even describe how high pitched and loud it is, and the blow off is even louder when he's shifting gears.

There are pictures of it on Super Street Magazine's website I think. It was on the Feb. cover this year.

Thanx, I remember reading about the NX Rx7 you are talking about. that thing was amazing. have you ever got to ride in it? I'll bet it's one scary *** ride lol. My ultimate plans for my car are about 500 whp on high boost. but that will be on a large snail and another motor for sure.

BTW, Nice bike

Unfortunately I have not riden in it yet. It really doesn't see a whole lot of street time, mostly it goes to shows, mag shoots, and its been invited to a couple of road racing events. It got 2nd or 3nd (can't remember which) in it's last race. It was kinda out of it's class but did very well.

Definately get the rotarty rebuilt, when done right they can handle a lot of power for such a small engine. He had two turbos for his, a smaller one for road racing that would spool up quick, and then a BIG one for drag racing/street driving. The nitrous system was in case he needed to spool the big turbo up quickly.
