seriously it barely takes a sub 2.0 60' to run an 11 with a 430rwhp z06....at sea level anyway.

I agree but his 13.0 wasnt at sea level it was at 4000'.

he ran a 12.2 on radials at 120 that trap speed is good for a mild 11 sec pass.

Hence the Tom

120 mph trap at 4000 would probably be closer to say 126 mph at sealevel...

That Z with DR's on a good run should be 11.1 - 10.8's if he's really pushing it. Sounds like he needs to sneak off somewhere and do that just to see what the REAL timeslips are.

BFD on your low 11s on a DR.........what did it run on a radial.
???? I'm not talking **** to anyone. He's talking **** to me?!

I never claimed to be the best driver in the world, but to have some kid who knows didily **** about me, tell me that someone who pulls a 12.2 in a 430rwhp Z06 can outdrive me without knowing anything about me .... sounds pretty stupid.

some peoples kids....
I have a total of 4 runs at the track in my life ... so I would assume 2 low 11 second runs, and a 10.89 @ 126 on a 50 shot of gas is pretty decent. As for the Radials ... I have never run my car at the track on radials. It is, however, on it's stock 10 bolt w/ 4.10's .... so obviously I am not using the tires to anywhere near their full advantage.

P.S. Look below my username .... then go search around and figure out how you get that under your name .... oh, I know ... by showing the mods a 10 second timeslip.

Thanks man. Looks like I'm putting the fuel pump in on Saturday, then it's up to CT to be tuned, and then off to the Ave. to beat on some rice.

I'm sure I'll see ya there.

.
Yeah I gotch ya .... but if you look at the first post, he never mentioned that the car ran those times at 4000,' which is a pretty important piece of intel ... so of course people are going to consider someone who ran a 12.2 and a 13.0 with a 430rwhp Z06 a bad driver, when decently driven 365rwhp stock Z06's can pull better times.
