How about you read the comment I was responding to before you comment.

"I never saw an EVO be able to take an LS1 , unless it was not stock ,and the LS1 was bone stock."

if he wants to see how wrong he is about fast EVOS, he can.

as for the ricer response, saying well i know a guy who has a faster evo than your car is gay, its just an excuse, if you want to tell me about his car i wouldnt mind listening but thats just a weak *** comeback
Lying on the internet is also pretty gay. Spelling lying wrong is also kinda gay. So is thinking that is an excuse. I suppose you didn't read what I was responding to either.

For the most part, most EVOs are faster than you. btw.

If you care about my buddy, he is running full exhaust, tuning, 272 Cams, 50 Shot, new turbo, ceramic clutch etc. Running mid 10's and stuff.

The guy is from the same state as me and my friend, so if he wants to see a fast EVO, he can. And he is just plain wrong, and if he wants to see how wrong he is about fast EVOS, he can.
Yeah I read it, whats your point? He said hes never seen a stock evo take an LS1. Why the hell do you care anyway, no one said your buddys evo wasnt fast.

Evos are ok cars...id sport one as a daily driver. i just hate the sometimes cocky *** owners that think thier little $30k crapola is the fastest thing since the f14 tomcat.

i dont ever have any trouble with Evo's or Sti's for that matter...wonder y that is..

sometimes ill let em get off the line before me on purpose just to see the look on thier faces when i come scorchin by..leaving them wondering what the hell just happened..

No where does the word "Stock evo" come into play so I would have your eyes checked out.

He also says that the only way an EVO would take an LS1 is if the EVO was modded and the LS1 was stock which is also just plain wrong as well.

Then you go on to misspell ceramic.

If you're going to try and use a retarded insult, atleast try and not do the very thing you are insulting someone with.

Lets see here, "The only way an evo would take an LS1 is if it was modded". Now as far as I can tell, a modded evo isnt stock. Sooooooooo he must have been implying that a stock evo can not take an LS1. If there's anything else you would like me to explain for you just let me know.

Where did you get that quote?

You left out the last part. That is the key that you forgot and why I responded. An EVO that is modded can take out a modded LS1. Anything you disagree with there? Now, since my friend has an EVO that would take out a vast majority of LS1s out there, his statement is just wrong. And we have an EVO owner who posted here that beat a lot of LS1s out as well.

good for your friend but get over it, if i wanted to i could talk all day about ls1's with H/C or FI or nitrous, damn

01ssdrvr - i agree i think the only way a EVO could take an ls1 is if it was modded (drivers being equal and cars running right, nothing crazy)

Yea, but I wasn't so who cares? You bringing that up is completly out of the blue and a waste of server space.

Did I ever say that an LS1 could not beat an EVO? No.

Did I ever say that an EVO could beat an LS1 with H/C? No.

So why bring up any of that?

I said that EVOs could beat modded LS1's which is contrary to the point made by another member. You seem to always miss that point since I am right and you will not admit that, instead you call me a ricer which also had little merit.

I also agree, a stock EVO will lose to a stock LS1. When they are modded, nothing is for sure which is also contrary to the statement I originally responded to.

A stock Evo can take a stock LS1 F-bod in the 1/4. After that, the F-bod will pull and pull.

and a stock ls1 CAN take a stock Evo in the 1/4 as well....theres too many things like drivers and track conditions that could make or break that, but youre right up top ls1 > evo

Correct, I wasn't inclusive of all Evo's and LS1 Fbods, just stating the possibility, not the probability.

hey hey hey now.....Am i gonna have to take control of my own thread? were all friends hear, were on the good side, they are on the evil side.....so to clarify some things the car was NOT STOCK he definately had exhaust and I could easily hear his BOV over my car's engine with my windows rolled up....secondly it was a white evo with tinted windows for whoever asked that earlier.....and third for those of us near stock evo's put up a good fight modded or not however...yes they are ugly but quick...soon my destiny will change with the addition of a procharger or a cam setup.......so keep the peace people
