You absolutely will need a nitrous tune...or at least dyno it and check to make sure the A/F is safe across the board. The last thing you need is your A/F to spike to 15:1 at 6K rpm on the sauce.
You honestly think it takes skill to pilot a relatively stock LS1 down the track? Just stab the throttle and go straight.
