Finally...
Finally... Sunday went out cruisin' to break my car in after getting the radiator replaced (Go ahead someone say that I don't need to break my car in and I'll tell ya an excuse to go fast 
Rematch #3... Raced buddies 03 Lightning twice... first race. A 40 roll up to 100. He gave me the jump so I took it. Jump gave me half a car and proceeded to pull another half a car by the time we let off. Second race short while later. From a 50 punch. He got the jump. I proceeded to reel him in up to 100 where I was pulling hard. We let off at 120 w/ him a length or so behind.
While trying to prove I had more control than I actually did. At 110, I took my eyes off the road, and waved (as to say goodbye) as I was walking him. When I looked back I noticed I was heading towards an offramp and had to take some real hands on crash course 101 in regaining control at 120. Luckily, I got control and went on my merry way.
This just goes to show, in my last reply I made about people "having their mind in the game." I never would have even got startled if I would have done what I've done time and time again. Keep my eyes on the road in front of me and watch out for careless drivers
