I hear ya on the house thing...especially in SoCal. It's beautiful there, but expensive as ****. The C5 KB is absolutely sick. It'll turn your quick car into a MONSTER!!

 

not at all sucking up here but it falls into a whole different category of "bolt-on"....you make it sound like its not that powerful

 

But...everything is bolted on, except the nitrous. I rarely use that though.

 

If you feel the need to drive 8 hours from So Cal to Nor Cal to run me, i guess i'd be down for a few runs. As far as this dude in his ZO i wanted to start from the same speed, but when i was a few cars back he saw me coming and then punched it, so i waited until i was closer to him, he then looked like he wanted me to get next to him, but there was only one open lane on Hwy 505, so he decided he was going to try and ditch me again but i was anticipating it this time. I wasnt trying to come off as, my nearly stock cobra is the fastest thing on god givin earth, i was just faster than this guy at this particular time!!!

There is always someone faster out there!

"Bolt-on" Cobra's and Z06's are both fast as **** on the highway. Just depends on who has more mods, skills & *****.

Yea around here everyone is like I wanna race a Z06 this I wanna race a Z06 that. I only have minor bolts ons and I'm a decent driver and I get pulled on by cobras with all the bolt on's besides longtubes. Not by much (maybe a car from a 40 roll - 130) but pulled non the less. I like to find them in the heat....


I love both cars but I like my Z06 and don't plan to mod it much further. Next Z06 on the other hand.... Hopefully I will get that next summer.
