fun race nothing like hanging out with your friends on a friday night, watching some street racing and cool cars go by on the strip. i've been wanting to run this kids srt4 for a while. his car seems to be the conversation topic amongst all the people in that area my age. so he came by, and the parking lot was right at this great intersection, we roll out and boom.. both of us sittin first in line in the 2 lanes at the red light with everyone right there on the side of the road. he took his system out of the trunk for the extra weight loss, and i grabbed my cousin and told him to get in and videotape the run. first time i ever did a decent burnout before a race with my nittos.. man what a difference in traction when theyre nice and hot. i stalled my car up to about 2200 and then when the light changed hopped on it, chirped for one sec then "took off like a bat out of hell" said an innocent bystander. pulled about 4 car lengths on him within the first 6 seconds. awesome! ran the car up to about 100 then let off. then we raced from a roll (this is where i was gettin nervous). we lined up he put his car in second we were doing about 35/40 i heard his turbo spoolin up bigtime then we took off he pulled on me for about 1 second but then i got a 1/2 car on him. fun stuff. i'll post the vid tomorrow.
