illinois fines ok, does anyone know what the fine is for street racing in ilinois, and does anyone know how many speeding tickets u can get before u lose ur license.. thanks..
well they arrest you for starters. impound your car from the spot without you letting to choose the company to tow it. after you post bail, not forsure how much you can not get your car back until it gets inspected. so if you fail emisions such as no cats, they take it to a shop and have them put on at your cost. and after all of this you get to pay all that money to get your car back. then about a month or so later after your court date, they take your license for 1 year. then your insurance is out the ****. this is from a buddy of mine that lost his about 3 years ago from drag racing. things could have changed since then. yea so if you think your going to get caught its better to run from them then to get caught, and so be very careful when you street race find an old road were you can see people coming from all directions.

Running from the cops is a really stupid idea unless you're 100% sure they have not seen your plates AND can not catch you AND you can avoid them radioing ahead (i.e. you have a turn off at the next exit and a dark place to ditch the car). If you have all those things, then running from the cops improves from a "really stupid idea" to just "a pretty bad idea".
This isn't dukes of hazzard, this isn't 1972. They are high tech and you'll be in 10x as much ****, especially if you dump oil out the window or throw nails on the road (I assume that was a joke, but still). They will trump up the charges so high... man, you thought getting an impounded car back was expensive, how much do you think a good lawyer trying to get your multiple felony charges reduced is going to cost?
