Turbo Avenger OWNED!
some models of avengers have a 2.4L if I am not mistaken.
Anywho.... Turbo'd Avenger Motor's are relatively common, but they usually aren't kept in the Avenger. There is a purple ACR neon running around STL with a Turbo Avenger Engine. Thats a scary swap. He had right around 300 fwhp in a 1st gen neon, which is 300 lbs lighter than the 2nd gen (SRT Gen).

Mitsu Eclipse Spyders ('verts) that weren't turbo'd had a 2.4L 4banger in them I know. They used that for the extra torque to make up for the added weight of the 'vert's extra body reiforcements.
They use Mitsubishi motors though. I have my shitty Sebring sitting right outside with the nice MITSUBISHI on the motor. I have the 2.5L v6 though, and there is absolutely no room at all to put a turbo under there. Sebring/Avenger has to be the worst cars to put money into. Horrible gearing, heavy, and very underpowered. I ran a best of 17.1 at the track when I took it just for fun. So embarassing...I think a stock Jeep Grand Cherokee beat me
^ Well what do you expect: they aren't sportscars and they weren't made to be fast. Just like Hondas, Toyotas, etc etc, they're good looking cars meant to get people from point A to point B in a cheap fashion, not be a race car.

Really? I thought it was a race car, lol. If you re-read, I brought it there for fun to see how slow it was.
