How quick is an M3?

According to every stat Ive ever read the stock 01 and up M3 will do 0-60 in 4.8-5.1 and run the 1/4 mile in 13.4-13.6....
My best friend has a 2004 M3...
He bought it about two months after I bought my 2004 C5....
We did a lot of magazine racing and all the mags said that the C5 did 0-60 mph in 4.7-5.0 and ran the 1/4 any where from 13.0-13.4....
But those stats were from the mn6 C5 and I had the dogg slow 2.73 a4 version....
I knew it would be close and was scared he would pull me....
We went out around 1 in the morning and did 3-4 runs....
I pulled 3-4 carlenghts on him by 100 mph each time....From a stand still..
We both then took are cars to the track a few times here in hawaii at race way park..
His best ever was a 14.0 at 100 mph....My best was a 13.5 at 103 mph....
The stock mn6 camaros can hit 13.6 at my track and the autos are in the 13.7-13.9 range....
Any stock F or Y body since 1998 should be able to take the M3...

CarbonBlckM3, you'd be the right person to ask a few things about M3s since you own one. What do they usually trap at in 1/4mi? Since I'll be racing my buddy on the highway, trap speed is what matters. I trap 110mph in my Z.
How good are new M3s at higher speeds? He might want to take it up to 140-150 or more, and I'm not sure how those cars pull at high speeds.
