almost got beat for the first time
he left the light pretty quick and made a left onto the business route jammer highway and i was going that way, so i made it so that i followed him...there was a car in the right lane, so i couldn't get beside him at the next light so i followed him up to clear lanes ahead...i passed the other car and pulled along side him in 2nd, then short shifted to 3rd...As soon as i got into 3rd he nailed it...i probably could have went back to 2nd but i let it be and went for it...He pulled about a foot on me thru third, then i shifted and lost a little bit more, and then i hear his automatic shift and i make that distance be a few inches is my favor...Up a hill thru 4th and he's still right there, by the end of 4th he has to slow for a car in his lane so that was it...
he passed me once he was clear and gave a nice thumbs up, but he looked a little surprised...my car hasn't lost on the street since i got it in may, but my area isn't exactly filled with anything special
from what i know, it's a 493hp 5.5 s/c that weighs like 92 tons or something...but a very nice car and i was surprised it was that close

lmfa, like a yacht with a big-block. good kill/death. they run mid-low 12's stock with a healthy 115mph trap. if you get the pulley (only about 5k$ for the pulley
) they go well into the 11's. Trending Topics

and don't go over 30, guess i got lucky
when i went to texas in my evo, every other car was a Fbody or vette...
i see nothing of the sort around here...very rare to even see a fast car,
nevermind get a chance to race it

Sure thing. As for the Numidia thing, looks like it probably won't be open this coming year. The current owner/operator has been run out by the original owner. It's a huge mess. Numidia just sent out emails detailing all the drama. It's a real bummer since I only live 15 minutes from the track.
BTW, we have guys from the club up in WB area, too. I used to live in Stroudsburg and just moved back to Danville two weeks ago.
