dude lmao you are going to smoke that v6 mustang

I have a friend who owns an acura rsx type s and likes picking on pre 98 GTs and any type of v6 american car and while i know a rsx isnt a s2000 i belive they both have the k20 engine with an i-vtec, the rsx is just a bit more heavy so you should definetly not have any problem

You are racing a V6 sn95 stang, they are slow, heavy and just overall crap. It won't even be close. Definately try to up the bet if he is extremely confident.

I used to whoop RSX-S in my 96 GT. The problem with Mustangs is that no one knows how to drive them properly. The car only makes power to about 5100rpm and then the power drops drastically. The trick is to shift at 5000 - 5200 rpm's.

99-04 GT's run high 13's with good drivers, and low 14's with decent drivers.

About the shifting at 5000-5200 RPMS.....is this really true???
My buddy has a 01 5-speed 6cylinder mustang with just a catback....I ran it and ran a 16.2 in it stock but I was shifting a little early(around 5300) because it was fairly new and didnt want to tear it up, (not my car)
his best time of the night was in the 16.5-16.6 range...and he said he redlined every shift....i might have to tell him this if its true..

No contest, the Mustang gets rocked by at least a football field. Get some good video footage...while it last's...everybody needs a good laugh now and then.

Hahahahahaha, pre 99 v6 mustang. It runs mid 16s at best since its a 5 speed. But the autos were more like low 17s. The 150Hp it came with probably isnt even still there after all those long years of neglect. 99 and up 5 speeds should run mid-low 15s stock. That is all. Oh and for reference, my brothers 00 V6 5 spd ran a 15.3 bone stock. He had 160 ish rwhp stock. case in point....

I hope that redneck brought his $100.

LMAO.....people like this I just laugh at, and then offer a bet like $500. That always puts em in their place, and shuts them up.
