Wink 98ss vs 02ss

i god a good one 4 u guys seeif u guys could give a heads up, tommorrow im about to run my friends 02 ss, he gots the (lid, slp cat back) 18" z06 chrome wheels, a4, my 98 has z06 clutch, k&n air intake, magnaflow exhaust, and is a m6

The M6 can be your best friend or your worst enemy depending on driver skill. I say it'll be a drivers race.

i think tht im pretty good i hit a 13 flat o the quarter with street tires he hasnt ran his but i thin im pretty good

well HE also has the Ls6 intake on his 02 camaro even.. if u both had good launches i would still give the race to him..his A4 over ur m6 .. ull have to shift and launch ur car good to stay infront..

A4's are a lot easier to launch as long as he doesn't get to anxious. plus he has LS6 intake and the better heads. 98 heads don't flow as well as the later model LS1's.

if you can hit a 13 flat with street tires than it should be a pretty close race

A drivers race with slight advantage to the late model w/ A4. (just coz it is easier to **** up a race with m6-missed gears/shifting early etc)
