Ricer Cavalier given a lesson Ok here is the funniest thing you will problie hear today. So I just got my new car a 94 firebird Formula finaly got it on the road about 4 days ago. Well yesterday I'm sitting at a light and a Cavalier pulls up with a fart can on the back and primer panit thing looks like a pice of S##T and revs at me. I'm like wtf is he just retarted or does he realy think he stands a chance? Now my car is not the quickest thing around but it is fast. Has full flowmaster exhaust system, no cat, and K&N air filter. Now I figure ok I'll rev it up to about 4 grand and that will shut him up. So I do so and the light turns green. Nope moron thought he stood a chance he get about 2 to 3 car lengths on me and I peg my pedel to the floor and hit the performance shift button. 
Need less to say car jumps down into first and by the time it goes into secound I am about 3-4 car lengths ahead. At the next light just to mess with him I rev my car alittle and the guy wont even look at me lol. Question what the hell would even make you think if you were driving that car to come up on a Formula and try to play with it?

mabe dont see how tho I have a couple of freinds with V6 forth and third gen cars and they just don't have the same sound a my LT1 has but I guss I sould think about what he was driving he most liklie knows nothing about cars seeing as what he drives and what had been done to the car.

Formulas are notorious for being almost identical to the V6, especially on that center trunk piece, most people expect to see a T/A decal. Also, I know a lot of people who are into imports that don't even know what a Formula is, they're just aware of the T/A & basic 6...of course when they see dual exhaust tips you think they'd be at least skeptical
I get this all the time. Mine is a TA though. I think most younger kids just recognize it as an "old" car and think their rice crap can kill me. I get revved on by neons, cavaliers, $hit prety much anything with a young kid in it..sigh..
The WS6 hood on it now makes a statement though.

ya that hopfuly will be one of my soon to come mod's for this car. As for the younger kids in the car ya most of the time I guss you guy would be right but for in my case you are wrong. I'm only 17 and this is my car. Was orginaly my brothers car he got it last year and realy didn't like it and got him self a new 2006 Chevy 1500 4x4. So I got this 
. And my first car was a 1990 Ford Thunder Bird SC which never made it out of the drive way $500 special worked on it some and sold it. Then I got my 91 firebird V6 fun car learned what you can and cannot do in a car lol fun time nearly killed my self a few times in the snow but other than that fun.
Other mod's to come will be SLP or Hotchkis Strut Tower Brace, Torque arm by SLP or Spohn, Headers not shure what kind yet still have to research some more on them, Cold air intake by SLP, basicly mostly some SLP bolt ons because this car still has to be my daily driver to get to work and school.

Save yourself some money... Don't go SLP. :-D Good Kill. A cavalier of all things? You should have just saved your gas. ... but on the other hand that kid would probably be bragging to his friend how he dusted a V8 from a dig.

Becareful when pulling up next to the junk looking cars. My friend's Esclpise looks like **** (getting painted this spring) but he ran a 12.4 in the 1/4, and that was before the cam and larger turbo.
