Jeez, 4.56 gears in an A4? What size tires is he running?
The Z06 can win but if he doesn't hook up like the Camaro should he'll get beaten on the first half of the track.

 

jb, it sound like you need to relax a little bit. when we were both bolt ons (i still did not have gears) i beat this guy. not to mention i was on nittos and he was on full slicks and skinnies. he has beat me once due to the fact i missed a gear, but a win is a win. my set up is going to be a little different now so i think i know what the outcome is going to be.

listen folks I had all bolton's except intake tb and cam before. Now
TREX cam, FAST 90/90 and running on 28 tall's for better shifting(couldn't get off that revlimiter. I made 12.25 12.16 and 12.04 passes (UNTUNED!)
Next time i will be tuned with 350 and tranny brake on 150 shot.

But, like I said before, let's do it now, today this sunday. because the last thing you would want me to do is put a 150shot on mine. let alone, TH350 w/TB IF you don't believe what I am running ask Marc he was there. that day you saw me at the shootout was my worse runs EVER. because i had changed the tune with my programmer. wrote the basic tune over another basic tune from my first predator which broke and that tune got stuck there.

last time we raced was back in July so u mean to tell me your post on 3-25-05 about an FM13 was all bull. which tells me your going to have something else other than a much bigger cam up your sleeve. Nos maybe? and if not then heads catback, tune?
But iam pretty sure you are going to have Nos.

my 12.04 pass was my first time out with 28 tall tires and i started shifting manually and found out it did not redline now. I had a huge problem with redlining with 26 talls although I do not know whether that was the problem because i started shifting manually after 28 talls. Marc in the yellow SS montecarlo saw, ask him.

And AL, i have never lied to you about any modifications i have ever made and never lied about my best times. And that was bull that I was talking %$%%$ about your car or you, if anything i was acknowledging the better your car should be and why? i will be honest with you. i think that you are the one that got mad first. this run is just going to be practice for me. I could care less, because my car is far from being finished.

but you are the instagater. i am not going to back down from any run or match. if you've seen me race you would know it is never against anybody slower. I go straight to the bikes.

well we raced tonight and i pulled it off, but it was a good run. i ran a 12.01 to his 12.6 (i think that is what he ran). not bad for running with a 4200 DA.

 

So, the Z06 won??? Sorry, but I'm kinda lost as to who owns what...algws6 owns the ZO6, shaulinmathvader owns the camaro? Someone please set me straight on this one. Great run BTW, and congrats to algws6!!!

wow....4.56 in a 10 bolt...how'd you pull that one off...had to use 28 in. tires, switched to a TH350, and still are mid 12's? Something doesn't sound right...

Vette only ran a 12.0 with all those mods? What kind of altitude, tires, and mph???

My friend runs 12.0 at 116-117 in a totally stock 02 Z06 with just a varram air intake (stock tires, etc)...

sounds like the Z06 pimp smacked the Camaro...again...
