There were 39 Flachs built for the U.S. -- two were white -- oh yeah and the U.S. Spec cars said Turbo S on the back.

Owned? Hardly.

928's don't look like 911's and why put a 3.6 badge on a V8 (various displacements over the years).

As for being slow remember the 928 was launched way back in the mid 70's and was faster than any stock Corvette until the LT1 engine arrived in the 90's.

Hey dumbass, someone already said it but im sure they make 3.6 badges just like they make 5.7 badges for ls1's, so maybe he just put a 3.6 badge on the back? People have been know to change badges on cars, even the might porsche owners...tool

Hey hick -- then if the badges were changed for all anyone knows it was a base 911.

Again -- this is a bullshit made up story from the start. Typical of any forum where car X is said to beat car Y -- you see a bunch of made up insecure based bullshit where Y beats X for the next 3 months.

I can assure you, if David saw this.. it happened. David is not some teenager with insecurity.. he is an adult man who owns his own business and drives a silverado.. not a sports car.. he has nothing to prove.. he drives a ******* silverado.. You are an idiot, and anybody who knows David knows he would not bullshit, nor has he ever, nor will he ever. I've personally seen David's truck run at the track, and he has timeslips to back up his 11.35 pass.. an 11.35 truck is highly capable of walking the dog on the street of several different models of porsches... and judging by your post most definately yours too.

The end,
Josh

[QUOTE=300bhp/ton]I think these words of wisdom from Steve C sum it up nicely:

Lets get this straight Steve C. I made up a story about a Porsche that I did not know existed. Then I only ran from 60-120 mph, which happens to be one of the better ranges to race for me. Much faster and he would have handed me my ***. No doubt the car can out hndle my work truck and his top speed is superior to mine, but in a straight line up to 120-125 There is no comparison. If I wanted to make up a story I would have used an example of a car that I am familiar with. You are the one that said there was no such car. Then when I offered up proof you start this crap about only 39 in the states. I don't care if there is only one state side. I know what it was. I like all cars that are fast. If he would have left me That would have been told here also. Give it a rest. You're getting all worked up over nothing.

Haha sweet stereo types, really shows your intelligence. At any rate I agree with you, could have been any type or model of porsche. However, the guy who originally posted the race has a low 12/high 11 second truck so its not out of the question that it was the car he stated it was as it hung really well with him. I also agree that there are plenty of bullshit kills posted here and on other car forums, and that it can lead to other bullshit stories, but honestly why would he try to lie? Why wouldnt he have said it was a GT2 or GT3 he raced if he were going to lie? I dunno, maybe the race didnt happen but he def has a truck that can run with the model porsche he claims to have raced and its tough always getting a video or pic of the race so you just have to try to go on what info is posted and if the race seems feasable or not, which in this case it seems it is. Oh well though, no physical proof to confirm or disprove his claims so I guess its pretty pointless to argue over it.
