Around here a chase is a race.If they say you jumped the line then he shouldn't have moved. This isn't racing at the track so there is no red light.Everybody I know say if the person jumps before the hands drop(lights come on etc...)then you don't move.So you won twice!
dont even bother racing, talking, hanging out or otherwise interacting with those asshats until they pay you. especially when you wanted to run for ***** and giggles, and THEY were the ones wanting to run for money. find new friends and a neutral flagger from now-on, too. if you really want to get technical, have your guy, his guy, and a neutral at the finish line with cameras to belay anymore bullshit.
Go collect your money. And that's not no buddy.
Good friends race for fun or lunch. Something simple.
Oh, and they take nothing personal. If he dropped his hand, flag whatever, that's go in my book too.
Just like everyone else said, go get your money. PS, I woulnd't be hanging with him anymore. That's no friend of mine.

I say flagger should have his hands in the air the WHOLE time, when it's time to race, drop em. I've seen too mahy guys leave on bringing the hands up, they see the hands move and reaction says "go".
Go to the track and make sure alot of people are watching.

And that BS about creeping. Thats actually a commonly used technique in competitive drags. Its called deep staging. You just barely trip the second stage light, then creep forward as the other guy stages. When the green goes, you not only have a bit of a rolling start, its easier on the driveline. I think Force does it alot. It is easy to redlight this way, but it sure does not sound like you did. I say you guys take it to the track and settle the BS. Offer to pay his tech inspection if you loose on top of the that cash.

And about the track thing, this was supposed to be a fun street race but they took it out of proportion, they got mad when they wanted to put it off for a week and I said HELL NO
I mean you know you lost so you want time to make it fast was my thought and thats sure what it seems like. you can't deep stage and shallow stage on the street. jesus ****. you gotta keep your *** still. if you cant launch your car from a complete stop thats your problem. you also can't redlight on the street..wtf. you chase you race. buncha damn noobs. i wouldnt even **** with them anymore. if they pulled **** like that once they'll pull **** again.

That's like racing and weaving in and out of the cars and saying you lost because you couldn't pass, etc.
Because I don't put others in danger.
That's like saying lets race and I start running, haha. Like I said, they don't want to lose = soar loser!
