ran a m3
So Im on the way out to meet a couple friends last night when I see headlights behind me kind of darting around in traffic. As the car gets closer I realize that the headlights are bmw headlights. He gets up beside me and is just staring at me. This was a really hot car kind of a deep blue with the vents on the fender and the m3 badging on back. Anyway we kinda punched it a few times but traffic was just a little to heavy. Then finally we both caught a red light and ran from a dig up to about 80. That thing launched better than I expected but by half way through 1st I was pulling on him and put about 2 1/2 cars on him by 80 then let out because of traffic. That car was pretty damn quick though and got out the hole fairly well not mention it looked like sex. I love the stance of those m3s. Anyway just thought I would share. Another victory for the LS1!

good kill... my friend has an E36 M3 tha i have raced a couple times. The thing is NOT STOCK... although he only claims it has intake and exhaust. But those things can launch. He beats me all the time off the line and it takes me until 65 or 70 to catch up and pass him.

Yea those are some respectable beamers. I remember trying to race one back when I had my '99 Protege, never even heard of them before; looked that car up online right when I got home, no wonder he spanked me so hard haha. After I got my Z28 though, I semi-raced a brand-new '05, don't think either of us went WOT due to traffic, but it would have been a good run. Also raced a '95ish M3 from a 40mph roll up to 90mph, put 3-4 cars on him until we got to some S-curves which I would never attempt at over 75mph, he took those things well over 90mph without breaking a sweat.
