the dodge is probably the easiest one to make power. It seems to be one of the more popular modified turbo diesels.
A mid 90's cummins put 4car lengths on my stock Tahoe on E-way off a 70mph roll-on. And the worse part was that he had a about 100 gallon container filled with water in the bed.
Must have been twincharged, like the new VW, right?

i believe he is on propane, though...not sure.
runs dead consistent 13.3 @ 103, so i'm assuming the 12s run was on minimal prop.
All the black smoke is 100% normal for a strong deisle. The more smoke it puts out, the more power it has, is generally a VERY accurate rule of thumb.
I also wasn't aware that the turbos on cummins motors sound similar to superchargers, but I believe stanger88. I learn something every time I visit this board. Good stuff.
