Street and track is dif., if you guy's mark the 1/4 mile and actually go from a stop, should be a good race if he can drive, but i bet he will get excited and bog.
he won t run now till spring. we will be racing at byron raceway.as far as evo lxs , they go 13.4 < road+track> stock.seen this evo run one time at track only ran 14.55 grinding gears . not good on trans

Lots of things loose to a built motor LSX RX7.
Lets see what happens when they run. I predict a good race.
If both drivers were equal I'd say it'd be a very close race, however since this guy cant drive, Im sure you wont have a problem taking him out. People shouldnt be suprised at how much the driver can affect the outcome of a race.
my buddy actually has a evo IX and we raced a 99 z28 the other night and he had exhaust and my buddy is bone stock...both manual....my buddy edge him out at about 110 from a 40 roll...but from a dig he pulled about 1 1/2
ran evo from roll<15 -80> had him by 1.5 car . my tires break loose quick, so i had go easy on the gas at first. the boy doesnt want to talk about the race<we both work at the same place> .
IBTL.
Jesus. These threads lately remind me of one of my favorite pastimes back in school in Colorado. Me and my buddie would go to this Qdoba right on the corner of a busy intersection. The right hand turn lane was always icy in a decent bit of cold weather. Stupid college kids never check their tire pressures or alignments. So we would grab a beer and a burrito and sit at the bar and watch people spin into each other trying to make the right hander too fast. Never ceased to amaze how regularly people would make the same damn mistake.
Any one else see the similarity?
