AGAIN, I am not denying the kill. I am only second guessing the 8 lengths. Is that hard to understand? I agree, we don't know his H/C combo, but we dont' know what his 'other stuff' is either. We can only speculate. With the H/C, minor bolt ons, and gears, it should have been a driver's race, not eight lengths...that is ALL I am saying.

I'd have to agree with ponygt65. I don't doubt the kill and the Gt 2V is s l o w in stock form. BUT many H/C, gears with additional minor bolt-on cars like this have run high 12s without spray and some decent tires...good enough to make it a driver's race or at least interesting for a rock stock F-bod LS1. 8 lengths seems excessive...maybe the guy let up when he saw the Z walking away...I dunno.

In any case, good kill.

 

If the GT would of been an M5 then it would of probably been alot closer. Ford AODE transmissions are crap unless they are rebuilt then they are less crappy. I believe he walked this GT. 1996 absolutely the worst year for the mod SOHC. with the setup he has he is only a high 13.90-14.00 car, no match for a stock LS1
