Nice kill. Classic glass rear-end example, too. They can trap as high as 109mph, so its a great race vs. an Fbody.

You guys must no way more than anyone else does inlcuding everyone at GM.
It really simple, type in 2004 and 2005 CTS-V, there is info all over the web stating that both of these cars came with 5.7 engines. since they never made a 5.7 LS2 you must have changed your engines in both of your CTS-V's that you own. or you are smoking some good stuff dreaming that you have a 6.0 liter LS2.

If I'm wrong, prove it to be with something other than your made up knowledge.

Ha, the only reason his LS2 or LS6 was no match for your LS1 is because you had more mods, lol.

LMAO.

sounds like dipshit couldn't turn off TCS.

Then..on his either 1-2 shift, or simply launching it,...he got such bad wheel hop, that he cracked the diff housing... obviously causing failure.
Seen it too many times.

Funny story.

Sucks for the cocky dipshit in the cadillac.

I trapped 111mph in my first and only pass in a V.

I highly doubt that. I'd like to see some proof.

Yes I have a 2005 CTS-V and it definitely has an LS6 in it.

And yes, with the TC on, the tires won't light up as easy. TC pulls power from motor.

Good kill on newb driver.

I've seen a time of 12.9 at 110 from a bone stock LS6 CTS-V. That guy could drive his a** off. Once they get moving they pull pretty hard. That weak rear end and IRS is a disadvantage from a dig. They average mid to low 13's trapping at 106+ on a good day.

Alot people say the LS6 pulls harder up top than the LS2.

There's one on the rack at Thunder racing right now that is super charged and should be putting down 1000rwhp with a built 408. According to them.. I wana see this beast run at the track. They also have a built 2007 Z06 that runs low 9's on cam all bolt ons and spray..

Is that posted anywhere? I've yet to see it that high or quick, even on the Cadillac forums.
