Sweet! Looked like the truck kept up for a little bit...good kill!

Quik Z06 01-02-2007 01:58 PM

Sup Jazzy, yeah we were at the Shell and Omar was there with us. As for the truck not having 680, I dont know, all I know is I seen the 540 motor and the truck is pretty quick. As for Marcel beating him, I could see it his car is pretty fast.

The truck did keep up for a bit, his DR's helped him out, but once I got traction I started to pull away. It was a pretty cool race though maybe I'll run him again when he installs his nitrous.

Not to thread-jack... but have you ever run your GS-R at the track?

Yah, I want to see what your car could do with 21 psi or so. That will be scary. That truck does sound nice though.

Somewhere I read the Meth inj was corrosive to alluminum..?? Not sure. Stage 3...ahh yea. I still have my stock clutch and believe it or not it doesnt slip a bit but I also dont have traction either!

Hey I had to remove the blower and "do some stuff to it" and I had the rear inlet cut and welded up, check it out. Kinda nerve racking taking apart a new blower.

No more "hump" for the fuel rails.

Not for long! Find any kind of traction and it's toast.

Yea, more money!! I know. Guess an alluminum flywheel is worth it too unit?? Dont you have one? If so, does the idle hang up or take too long to settle down??

My flywheel is a re-surfaced stocker for now with a Ram clutch.

Hmmm...I don't remember that for some reason. The only idle problems
I've ever had were due to the Accufab TB...definitely not tuning. I've
yet to confirm this, but my gut feel tells me that the TB blade wasn't
machined properly and in the heat of the summer, it expands ever-so-
slightly wich causes it to hang up on the TB housing. I could be full
of shit though. It really isn't a problem anymore.

Irunelevens 01-06-2007 08:19 PM

I've heard that people have problems with Accufab TBs, but it's usually with the blade/spring mechanism. I have an Accufab 75mm, and luckily I have not had that problem.
