Yeah it is for Enthusiasts. Unfortanetely a Integra GSR falls far short of being a true Enthusiasts car!!

By your logic this gto should have run me down easily since he has 150 more whp than I do in this vid. It does seem as if he's catching me... but thats only because he is drafting.... first the M6... and then me. As soon as he pulled out into his own airflow I started walking away from him like he was standing still.

The camera shuts off before I start to walk away.... but the fact that he refused to race me heads up should tell you what would've happened. I'm only trying to get you guys to see how much of a role horsepower to weight ratio plays when racing. If you guys can't make your point without calling childish names then maybe I was wrong about these forums.

Stop being dicks, guys. Last I checked a Firebird or a Camaro wasnt exactly the automotive equivalent of caviar as far as the foodchain goes. Most of you guys ragging on his car would be looking at tail lights anyway.

Of course it would have happened heads up. I agree with you HP to Weight is what determines how quick you can be. (look at motorcycles) its very clear. In a top end race, where both cars already have equal momentum you will see horsepower as an advantage in that he will who has more hp will be pulling away or gaining on.

You make a good point, but in reality thats not how it happens. We were already travelling at a very high rate of speed.... So with +150whp this GTO should've flown by me.... yet like I said..... when he got into his own air I started pulling away!!!

Yea...looks like you were wrong. We don't like shitty Japanese econo cars that some tool built up to be fast. ******* pointless, just do everyone a favor and leave.

Its not just about how fast a car is. I'd rather have a nice car that isn't that fast than a fast car that is a piece of ****.

Umm, sorry. I respect Supras, and when properly modded they are stout drag/roll race cars who are always among the fastest, but the actual ride quality and comfort, build materials, interior space, paint finish, etc. comes nowhere close to being superior than that of a Corvette, Camaro, Firebird, or GTO. Neither does the performance, stock vs. stock. Also, LSX powered vehicles dominate SCCA racing, as well as LeMans when it comes to production cars. What's Toyota's racing heritage when it comes to production cars, like the Supra? And all that success and lessons learned from WINNING against the rest of the world goes right back into the cars, whether it be engine design, suspension compenents, etc. I'm proud of my ****** GM, it's not a piece of ****, and I sure as hell wouldn't trade it for 100 gsr's.

I totally respect this guy!!!!!..... he made his point..... a valid one at that..... and he didn't hafta call me names to get it acrossed. That being said I have a very rich friend who I was so happy to tell I am buying a C6 Z06 soon and having it sent out to lingenfelter to get the a special 800whp twin turbo treatment. You know what he said to me..................... It's still a corvette. Trust me guys... as much as we love our cars... they are pieces of ****. Doesn't mean we can't think of them as gold!!!

Comfort, paint finish, etc? Don't stretch it, most of that is completely pointless or subjective points. If you like GM interiors and such then cool it's your choice but don't state it like its a fact.

why are poeple talking about interior and paint in the street racing forum? everybody knows that when it comes down to hp per dollar and potential nothing equals a third gen.
