Yeah, he said he bought it already built from a guy that owns a diesel preformance shop in Mcdonough...definitely some money in it.

nice death though. are there even alot of 11second trucks out there to begin with?
keep in mind that this truck is an 11second truck because of how fast it is in the 1/4mile.. racing from a roll at those speeds he isnt at his strongest point and isnt going to put lengths on someone like an 11second cobra would.. wonder what his mph is in the 1/4?either way, good death man. you gotta watch out for those diesels.. i did some racing with a guy who has a high 12 second diesel and i put some good lengths on him in my L.

You gotta watch out for those fast trucks. Deisel trucks can be made real fast for cheap. Getting one to run 12's is easy and with N2O 11's certainly doable.
It's a blast surprising some folk who think their car is fast.

What are the diesels? 250? I was just going by what it looked like.

No need to get all pissy hotshot - I was just playin.

The 90's F-150/250's looked sort of similar (photos courtesy of KBB, black one is a 95 F150, Red one is a 95 F250)

Yeah we had 3 Cummins (along with other diesel trucks) before moving here, one was a bit modified (fuel system and chipped) - they can easily add a few hundred horses and ft/lbs on a chip alone (it feels bad looking at tuning for other cars seeing only a few hp and ft/lb gains instead of the hundreds for a diesel).

shoot i'd like one. given, it would be one nose heavy sob. it would still be pretty kick ***. 1000hp, and 2000 lb-ft of torque in a 4000 pound car. you could put like 1.73 gears in the axle and get 30+ mpg plus absolutely murder just about all others on the road. not to mention the drivability would be just as good as stock.

2-3 years ago there were very few 11 sec trucks out there. Now there are quite a few lurking around.

Yeah diesel performance has really taken off in the last few years. There's alot of 12 sec street trucks, a few 11 sec street trucks and even some 10 sec trucks. Hell my crew cab powerstroke runs mid 12's at 7500 lbs.

A few weeks back i was coming home from the dyno, minding my own business when a TA pulled up next to me on the hwy and started messing with me. Im guessing he saw my gauges on the pillar, bc my truck looks pretty much stock otherwise. Anyway he kept messing with me so i goosed it a bit to let him know i was game. He punched it and pulled 2 lengths or so right off the bat.....then my turbo lit and i raped his ***, not once but 3 times lol. After the 3rd time he dropped back and left me alone, guess he figured out that he wasnt going to win. I dunno much about f bodies but id guess it was an earlier one- maybe late 90's w/ v8 and sounded like an aftermarket exhaust bc it was loud. Kinda sucks not many people around here will race, they think im joking when i pull up to a stop light and start jacking with them. Same happens at the track too, first couple tiems i rolled through tech the guy laughed at me and was giving me a whole rash of **** for wanting to drag race my big *** tow truck.
