Bad night for the T/A

Got spanked twice at once. This guy i work with was telling me that his buddy has a 530hp h/c 6.0 GTO, so will i run? Im like f*ck yea gimme a call after work. I definantly made sure to let him know that all i could run was the stock *** auto T/A so id get murdered but whatever. Finally get a call at like 9:00 pm (not really my deal cuz i prefer daytime stuff, i like to know exactly what im running into) but whatever. Go to meet him and theres like 6 other cars there, and when we finally go to run i discover were going with an 03' Cobra also. Then when we line up THEY pull the ricer move of going from a roll. A 20 roll. Thats the worst damn spot possible for the auto. When the honks came they came from the car on the far left and i was in the far right so i got walked from start to finish
. Wouldent have hurt so bad if the dude in the Cobra hadent been so cocky and had his girl with him. Nothin i love more than beatin a guy in front of his girl. As for who won between the other two i think the GTO barely edged out the Cobra but i was so frustrated by the time they got a couple bus lengths on me i quit paying attention. After all that happened there was a 5.0 that wanted to play. First race was dead even until about 75 when i would walk away. Dude started makin skuses and sayin "oh but i bogged down nasty ". OK. Second race dude jumps the gun so bad i just got out of it but id had enough by then and said they could call me tomorrow during the day if they wanted more. Just cant get the stall, headers and true duals on fast enough! Gonna need a cam or NOS to play with these guys though

which stall are you going to use? regardless aftre the install of that, the headers and true duals, and maybe a cam, and a little shot of the sauce and you might be able to even up the score!

I have a B&M 2,400 RPM stall yet to be put in and the pacesetter LT headers and custom true duals setting in the garage. I bought new spark plugs for the install but I still need to buy an EGR block off kit and a pair of new front o2 sensors before i can properly attack it all at once though. Another month and ill be finished and ready for a tune. The T/A has 120,000 miles on it so im a little leary of getting spray but we'll see what im running after everything else gest put on. Right now in the sorry condition the bird is in i would say that its a mid 14 sec. car. If i can get into mid to high 13's w/it again ill probably leave the T/A alone after that. Maybe get a little more serious with the SS but i want to have nothing more than 100 shot at most, I dont want to tune for it.
