I am in the Navy, stationed in Japan currently-not by choice of course.
Given the situation, I have been able to see some pretty cool cars out here. Its funny, Kids in the states completely screw up this import concept! "Most" of the cars out here are pretty clean and neat, and when its obnoxiously loud, they can most of the time back that up. I can share many stories of this drifting business, like racing at 4am in the mountains of Hakone where its so narrow, that any novice would be a complete idiot to try!
I am in no way backing up those retarded kids in parking lots, screwing up a good time for all of us. Those were some of the best years of my life! In fact, I am debating picking up an LS1 from a guy I know out here. There's nothing like being at a light, and unable to hear the Skyline next to you, because your V8 is too damn loud!
Keep up the good post guys!

That is the stupidest thing I’ve ever heard, seriously step back and think about what you’re talking about. This is the first sign of homosexuality, its people like you who are a disgrace to cars like the MK3 supra.

I hate everything about drifting and the people who are involved with such a satanic event lol

edit, i agree with shoman.

I am totally into drag racing but kicking it sideways on the street is dam fun and quite a rush too. Now to do it as a "sport" like drag racing is dumb, but showing some muscle going sideways is pretty cool in my book.

You need to watch some of it, when the Japanese come over and get with the Americans in California.

I know for a fact there are a GTO and Viper in the drift series, and for those that think its dumb I am glad you have your opinion but I know your not kicking anything sideways at 60mph and holding it.

Drifiting is an ART or in otherwords just how close to chaos can you keep your car without letting hell take over.

Americans talk mad **** about drifting but wouldnt get no where close to a mountain or ocean port to do it.

I dont drift but I have quite a few friends that do and half of you big boys in here would **** yourself going sideways that fast.

There is a GTO, Mustang and a Viper. And drifting isnt ******* any more of an art than drag racing. I respect drifting(aspire to learn myself) in its own right, it requires plenty of skill and car setup, but why the hell do people talk down on drag racing?

For the same reason these Fbody guys are talking down on drifting. They know nothing of it. Now stop being a troll and go back to your 240sx forum.

+1. They need more muscle in movies instead of a '60's mustang with a skyline motor in it.

IIRC you win drifting competitions by the style of your drift over your lap time. WTF kind of race judges you based on how sideways you get on a turn? I guess ricers need an excuse to go slower after all; MORE TIME ON THE CURVES!@!@!~~! And drag racing is supposed to be retarded.
