Shitty Races and Good Races So to start things off, this afternoon im driving home from school and before i know it im pulled over and the cops are writing me up. 20min later i have $460 worth of tickets (dont ask, im still pissed about it)... instant shitty mood. So i get home and a couple hours later my cousin calls me up, one of his buddies just got a 99 SS (almost stock) and he wants to run it. Since there is nothing around here but rice, this made me feel a bit better. So at about 9 we were gonna meet down at the Mcd's. I get down there, with a couple of buddies and see my cousin waiting already with a couple of his friends, but no SS. The guy said he was gonna race an eclipse first but would be down by 9. We wait around for a while and he doesnt show up, so my cousin calls the guy a few times, no answer. ****. So they head off and me and my two friends who are riding with me just decide to go cruise around for a bit. Eventually we end up somehow came across the elusive ricer hideout that i've been looking for for years!!! Blinged out cavaliers! Non-turbo skylines with monster body kits! Slammed maximas with huge rear spoilers! Since there were no domestics there (except one old badass torino that just sat in the corner not doing anything) and about 15 or 20 imports they were eyeing me as soon as I got in. I whomped two of those shitass GTS-T skylines and a 90ish supra turbo (yea... theres no good imports where i live).
As im getting ready to leave, what should pull in but the white SS that i was going to race earlier, with a 01 Stang GT right behind him. He checks it out, sees that theres nothing but ****, and decides to leave too. We head out of there with the stang in tow (but not for long
) So we get about 4 or 5 runs in (60-70 freeway roll) on the way home, every single one being neck and neck with no one ever pulling more than about half a car length (I think whoever honked off won every race). All ive really got on my car is an SLP catback and lid, he had a lid too. Im pretty happy with how the races turned out though, since I had just filled my gas right before we raced, and he only had his girlfriend in the car and I had two other guys in mine.
Turned out to be a pretty decent day.
Im gonna be all over that ricer spot all summer.
