I woke up relatively early Sunday morning with a bit of a hangover. When I feel like that I just can't sleep it off. So I figured it was a beautiful day, why not go for a drive and see if I can shake it off. I am just cruising and I see a car behind me progressing thru traffic and gets along side of me. It was a brand new friggin Maserati. He goes by and I end up behind him and he turns onto a three lane road so I follow. He gets on it big time and I stay behind him.....not gonna catch him when he gets that kind of a jump. Anyway, we are flying and I know this is a cop rich environment, and sure enough, we round a corner and there is Johnny....and we are over 100mph. We get it shut down in time and no harm. Anyway, I finally get a light where there is an open lane beside me. And the dude turns off.....damn!!!!!!! Never got a clean shot. It was at least good to see the guy air it out a little. So I cruise on and I run into a friggin brand new Aston Martin DB7....I guess the exotics come out on Sunday morning early. Anyway, I had seen this dude around and he wasn't game then and wasn't now. But I have to say those are 2 very nice autos. I am out today(Mon) and come across a turbo Supra with the hugest coffee can muffler I have ever seen. It was an older dude driving and I couldn't get him to bite. Maybe good for me. SO I cruise on. I see up ahead in traffic.....a Lightning and an SLP Camaro SS. It was on a 3 lane and they were each on the outside lanes. I could tell they were "courting" each other. SO I slide right on in and fill the gap. Finally, some game. There we were.....3 abreast....a Lightning, An SS, an me. It was a chick driving the Camaro. The lightning hits it from a 70mph roll. The Camaro doesn't go. I go and dust him. We go again with the same results. The chick never played but did the ricer flyby at the end. Oh well. Not much of a race but you gotta get it when you can.

 

Damn, dude. I have never seen one of the Maserati's or an Aston around here. They are both sweet cars. You kinda lead us on there a little though. Just when I think I'm gonna read about a kill.....nothing. Oh well though. Nice Lightning kill. Was the chick in the SS hot?

 

Sorry about the tease. I guess that is why I titled it what I did. I was getting frustrated because I saw some sweet cars but couldn't get any. I just got a quick look at the chick in the SS....not bad. But as soon as I started checking her out, Lightning boy punched it....so I had to go.
