Default Bolt-on T/A VS CTS-V

I was out cruising around and ran into a CTS-V, I went by him at a light part throttle and he takes off after me. We run several times, very close races, Each time we were even through first and in second I would start to pull a bit. We only ran up to 70ish but he was a real cool guy, he said he was all stock.

My nos is having issues so that's not in the car right now. All mods current plus a ported TB.

Those things are quick man, sounds about right though. Nice kill. When you say custom flowmaster exhaust, what does that constist of? Cause I know I have heard that flowmasters actually have less flow than the stock mufflers. Hopefully that's not the case with yours.

Well it's a pieced together system that i'll be replacing here shortly. It's 2.5" from the y back into a flowmaster muffler, not sure what one though. I have a 3" magnaflow muffler and i'm going to have a shop make me 3" from the y back. When I open the cutout, it drops a few tenths off my 1/4 mile time so I know my exhaust sucks.

Yeah, get that magnaflow on there and you will be set.
