2.8 KB Cobra?
What would it take to beat an '03 that supposedly pushed 18psi on 93? I have a 2000 Z, Cam, full intake/exhaust, 4:10s in a 12bolt, M6, DRs. The race would be done on a 1/4 track.

Anyone who is gonna throw a 2.8KB on their Cobra is gonna have a serious set up, well into the 600+RWHP range.
But OP, we need a little more info about your set up. Do you have heads?.... And what size cam? What power numbers are you putting down with your current set up.
Even If you have H/C/I, you'll need at the very least a 150 shot. The 2.8KB blower isn't a joke.
Just figure out how to trap ATLEAST 130mph.... and then it should be good. Now way to say what you will need other than FI or a healthy shot. I drive a 2.8KB Cobra @ 18-19lbs boost. If he cant drive, who knows, you could beat him with a 100 shot in a 1/4 mile race. Just figure out how to get your traps up to 130-135mph.

Probably the most honest answer you've received so far. As long as you have the rear end and tire, I could care less if he's trapping 140mph. Your car on a good tire+150shot should take care of him.

As others have asked....What cam are you runnin'? IE: what is your N/A power?
